Though Daniel Craig is already back on Bond duty, and the big press conference for the latest 007 outing, Spectre, happened in December, there are still announcements to be made about the film. The official twitter feed put out wordthat Stephanie Sigman has signed on to play a woman named Estrella.

Nothing is yet known about how she fits into the plot – whether she turns out to be friend, foe or somewhere in between – and we’ll likely have to wait until the film’s release to find out.

What we do know about Spectre so far is the following: “A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.”

With Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris back as M, Q and Moneypenny, Sam Mendes’ second trip into Bond’s world also includes Christoph Waltz as the enigmatic Oberhauser, Dave Bautista as Mr. Hinx, Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, Lea Seydoux as Madeline Swann and Andrew Scott as Denbigh. Spectre hits our screens on October 23 before heading to the US on November 6. For more on the film, track down the latest **Empire, which has a huge set feature with reports from the set and more.
