As if we didn’t already have a recent embarrassment of Interstellar footage riches with a batch of new TV spots on Monday, there is now a new full trailer for Christopher Nolan’s latest, unlocked via the movie’s viral site. Naturally, we’d caution anyone looking to go in pure and untainted by glimpses of the film to skip this one, but otherwise set your visual sensors to active and get watching…

Interstellar finds mankind at a tough crossroads. The Earth, overcrowded, polluted and resource-strapped, is dying and unless we find somewhere else to live, the human race will perish with it. So despite a serious lack of funds and manpower, NASA and a group of scientists come up with a daring plan: to exploit wormhole travel and find fresh habitable planets.

Picked to lead this dangerous expedition is Cooper (Matthew McConaughey), a talented engineer and former pilot who realises he may have to sacrifice precious time with his family in order to save us all. And finding a new planet won’t be as easy as picking one out of a catalogue…

With Anne Hathaway, Michael Caine, Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck, John Lithgow, Ellen Burstyn, Mackenzie Foy, Wes Bentley, David Oyelowo, Elyes Gabel and Bill Irwin among the cast, **Interstellar **arrives, as mentioned above, on November 7. For more on the movie, check out the current issue of **Empire, which features an exclusive look behind the scenes at Nolan’s latest and brings you everything you could possibly want to know from the director and his team. Speaking of which, there’s also a new featurette on the film’s scientific advisor, Kip Thorne, who sparked the original idea for the script.
