Making a film about the man and the legends behind an infamously bad movie like The Room could have been an exercise in snide finger-pointing. Instead, director/star James Franco has gone for warm appreciation and letting the craziness of the story out through just letting it play. Check out the latest trailer for The Disaster Artist.

500 Days Of Summer's Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber adapted actor Greg Sestero’s book The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room, which he wrote with journalist Tom Bissell. The tome chronicles the chaotic making of chaotic, messy movie, the dream of frustrated actor Tommy Wiseau, who channeled mysterious funds into its creation.

Dave Franco is co-starring as Sestero, with his older brother playing Wiseau, who thought his filmmaking dreams had come true when he got to shoot the drama, only to watch it become a cult sensation for all the wrong reasons. The cast also includes Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Zoey Deutch, Alison Brie, Josh Hutcherson and Paul Scheer. The Disaster Artist will be in UK cinemas on 1 December, but can't seem to lose the accent.
