A new David Fincher film is always an event – and his latest, Zodiac, allows him to frolic in his favourite cinematic playground: serial killer-thrillers.
The real-life Zodiac killer terrified San Francisco during the 1960s and 1970s, and the film will see Mark Ruffalo’s detective trying to hunt down the slaughtering psychopath with the help – or perhaps hindrance – of Robert Downey Jr’s journo and Jake Gyllenhaal’s code-obsessed cartoonist.
