World War Z Teaser Poster Online

As the studio looks to turn around months of less-than-positive buzz about production problems, re-writes, re-shoots and more on World War Z, Paramount is gearing the promo machine up to full power, with, it must be said, intriguing results. We’ve already had a teaser for the trailer via Entertainment Tonight (you can take a look at that above). Now comes the teaser poster, available in the gallery below via the film’s Facebook page.

And tease it most certainly does, because despite having both Brad Pitt’s recognisable mush and a horde of zombies to play with as possible first images, the first poster has gone for a striking, lone title treatment with Pitt’s name above it.

In case you’ve forgotten, the film uses Max Brooks’ epic docu-style tale of the zombie apocalypse as the starting point for the story of Pitt’s Gerry Lane and his reaction to the global panic.

Marc Forster is busy finishing the film, which also stars Matthew Fox, David Morse, James Badge Dale, Mireille Enos and David Andrews. The trailer is set to hit on Thursday and the film finally arrives on June 21 next year.
