Barton** ****In School Uniform **

Rupert Everett, Colin Firth, Lena Headey, Stephen Fry and Celia Imrie have been back at school for the last few months, as the filming of Ealing Studios' St. Trinians continues to trot along at a poised and unflustered pace. It’s now been announced that 21-year old O.C star Mischa Barton has been added to the already brimming British cast. The film is unsurprisingly set at that most infamous of girls schools, in which headmistress Camilla Fritton, played by a no doubt overtly fruity and bespectacled Rupert Everett, struggles to welcome the new Education Minister’s plans for respectable reform. It’s then left to the pupils to save school from certain seriousness. For school uniforms and Girls Aloud galore, you’ll have to wait until the movie hits screens later this year.

Diaz And Kutcher Set To Win Big

Fresh from her vocal duties as the very green Princess Fiona in Shrek The Third, Cameron Diaz is now set to join forces with Ashton Kutcher in new Las Vegas-set rom-com, What Happens In Vegas. Kutcher – who’s also recently spent some time in the recording studio as a mule deer named Eliot in last year’s Open Season – will star opposite Diaz as the pair play a couple of casino guests that drunkenly tie the knot after a wild night at the slot machines. Julian ‘Entourage’ Ferino is set to direct the project. The chances of Diaz getting punk'd during the shoot are probably higher than they’ve ever been before in all of history.

Harry Potter 5 Site Launches

In fairly small but massively online news, the new UK site for Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix is now live. Head over to the spanking new portal for downloads, images, posters and all things Wizard, then head back to Empire’s Future Films page to discuss the upcoming fifth instalment of this global-conquering franchise.
