The Good Night Trailer Hits

What’s better than saying the following names in succession? Martin Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow, Penelope Cruz, Danny Devito, Simon Pegg. Why saying them in succession and watching them appear in the trailer for new ensemble-rom-com The Good Night of course! Yes, the first preview of Jake Paltrow’s debut feature has appeared online. The movie, which sees Freeman star as failed songwriter Gary Sheller - a man who becomes caught between his wife (Paltrow) and his dream girl (Cruz) - will be released later this year. You can form your initial thoughts on the movie by watching the trailer here. Shouting out the names of the cast is optional but highly recommended.

Roberts Is Knighted

According to the L.A. News, Gotham just got another new inhabitant in the form of Eric Roberts, as it’s reported that the actor has been cast as a Mafia boss in The Dark Knight. Roberts is currently enjoying a run in NBC’s Heroes, so the man they once called Eric Roberts will no doubt take to his duties on Christopher Nolan’s superhero flick like a bat to a really dark cave. It’s being speculated that Robert’s mafia boss may in fact be Sal Maroni – a character renowned within the Batman universe for having an ‘indelible’ relationship with Harvey ‘Two-Face’ Dent.
