Bebedebeep...bebedebeep...That was us making the noise of news just in. We also do an impression of a cow on a motorbike and Ian McKellen singing Kelis hits. But anyway, Aardman animation spokesperson Arthur Sheriff yesterday told Reuters that there is a Wallace and Gromit sequel in the works.
"Wallace and Gromit are alive and kicking ," Sheriff said. "There is a project on the table right now. It could be television, it could be a feature film. That depends how the story develops. It will go into production as soon as [Nick Park] has finished writing it".
Where it will go into production is unsure, with Aardman's distribution deal with Dreamworks terminated yesterday, but hopefully it will find a home soon. We consider the possibility of more W&G to be...sorry, we can't help it...cracking! Oh god, we're sorry.
