As we swing ever closer to the July release date for Dawn Of The Planet, we’ve apparently had the final trailer for the film, which you can find right here. But that isn’t stopping the arrival of footage for the movie, with two brief new clips online. Take a look below and at the bottom of the page for the latest cine-goodness.

Dawn, as you may know by now, is set a decade after the events in Rise. Humanity has been devastated by the virulent, lab-grown infection that has spread around the world and brought the Homo sapiens civilization to its knees.

In that time, Caesar (Andy Serkis) and his simian kinfolk have only grown in ambition and ability. As they breed and evolve, picking up more of the rudimentary language their leader had started to show off 10 years ago, they’ve watched the steady decay of mankind, until they’d started to think we were done for. But then humans including Jason Clarke’s Malcolm, Keri Russell’s Ellie and Kirk Acevado’s Carver run into a group of apes and tensions flare.

The human anger is driven by Dreyfus (Gary Oldman), mourning his family and not eager to trust the apes. Caesar, meanwhile, has to deal with hot-headed lieutenant Koba (Toby Kebbell), who wants to go on the offensive against mankind. Soon a fragile peace is threatened with a new ape-human war…

With Matt Reeves directing, and Kodi Smit-McPhee, Terry Notary and Judy Greer in the cast, **Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes **is out on July 17 in the UK.
