The New Bond Girl?

With Casino Royale rolling out on DVD next week, Bond fever is set to once again plunder the movie world. The twenty-second film in the series is set for release next year, but the casting rumour mill has already started turning. It’s now been reported that Australian actress Abbie Cornish has flown out to Singapore to discuss taking on a role in 007’s next big-screen outing. Having starred in the acclaimed** Sommersault** and played opposite Russell Crowe in Ridley Scott’s The Good Year, Cornish will next be seen in The Golden Age – Elizabeth I’s eagerly awaited return to cinemas (obviously annoyed at number II’s recent success). Cornish as the next Bond Girl? Head over to the forums to discuss.
