We've known he can sing for a while thanks to, er, Sing and more recently Rocketman, and it appears that Taron Egerton is in talks to star in a new remake of Little Shop Of Horrors that has been in the works for a while.

Full Circle Cinema (which doesn't have a big track record in rumours) has heard that Egerton would play Seymour Krelborn, the florist who discovers an alien Venus flytrap plant that has a taste for human flesh. It helps him boost his confidence and woo love interest Audrey, but the ever-growing leafy lunatic's demands soon outpace Seymour's ability to feed it.

Egerton might not seem like an obvious choice for the role once played by Rick Moranis (in the 1986 film version), but he has experience in it, having starred as Seymour in a local youth production in Wales back in 2007.

Added to that, Jeff Schneider (who has often broken casting stories) has quoted the story, with word that Scarlett Johansson has been offered the role of Audrey. Pose's Billy Porter was previously offered a part as the voice of Aubrey II, the plant. On stage, Seymour was most recently played by Mindhunter's Jonathan Groff.
