While we've already had a trailer for the series' next run, this takes the unusual step of foregoing any of Stranger Things' usual supernatural weirdness, pushing instead the idea of a different season for our characters to experience.
Still, this is Hawkins, and you just know that something horrifying is lurking. Likely something worse than someone doing a poo in the pool. The season will show the core characters growing up and – potentially – growing apart as time marches on in the show. It's 1985 and a mall has finally arrived in the not-always-so-sleepy burg. What does this mean for our heroes? Besides the chance for a summer job, that is.
As is fitting for its setting Stranger Things returns to screens on 4 July via Netflix, its usual home.
