Empire readers will already be getting a load of new info and images from Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker when the latest issue drops out of light speed and hits newsagents both Resistance and First Order. Here's one extra pic, as provided by the official Star Wars site: meet Babu Frik!
The tiny Anzellan droidsmith works among the Spice Runners of Kijimi and can reprogram or modify virtually any droid — regardless of the security measures protecting its systems. He's also apparently one of Anthony Daniels' favourite new characters, and his inclusion in toy form with a C-3PO figure in Skywalker sets points to him interacting with the nervy protocol droid in a big way. Could he be the reason for Threepio's red eyes from the trailer?
There's no word yet on who might be voicing the character (assuming he speaks), but we'll find out more when Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker lands on 19 December.
