On the evidence of this trailer, that someone is Joe Carnahan, who delivers a gut-punch with Smokin’ Aces. The bullets – and the cuts – fly thick and fast as Ray Liotta and Ryan Reynolds’ Feds try to keep a sleazy magician (Jeremy Piven) alive long enough to testify against a mobster.
