The mystical, age old question of who would win in a fight between Jude Law and Michael Caine is soon to be answered. Next year’s crime caper Sleuth – Kenneth Branagh’s reboot of the 1972 original – pits the two leading men against each other, as Law’s adulterous Milo Tindle and Caine’s mischievous Andrew Wyke attempt to outwit each other in a series of treacherous games.

Harold Pinter has provided the screenplay and has promised a new take on the 70's version of the story. That said, Sleuth sees both men stepping into fairly familiar territory. This is, of course, the second time Law has updated a classic Caine role, following his turn in the 2004 Alfie remake, while Caine’s relationship with the plot runs even deeper – he starred as Tindle in Sleuth’s first incarnation.
