With the Super Bowl this weekend across the pond comes the ads. And, most importantly to us, the movie trailer spots. The Lone Ranger’s latest tease is once more filled with train action. Check it out below.

Yes, since the chuffing engines are one of the most impressive things about the movie’s imagery so far, it makes sense that they’d keep using them. And this time around we get some fresh narration from Tom Wilkinson and plenty of action moments with heroes Armie Hammer (as John Reid, the Ranger) and Johnny Depp’s Tonto.

The big question will still be if this can deliver at the box office along the lines of Depp, Gore Verbinski and Jerry Bruckheimer’s other, high seas franchise, but it won’t be for want of trying.

With a script from Justin Haythe, Eric Aronson and Pirates veterans Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio, The Lone Range****r features the likes of William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter in its cast. The film arrives on August 9.
