Are the Scream team taking a leaf out of Home Alone 2: Lost In New York's book? How else to explain a change in location for Scream VI from the (usually) sleepy suburb of Woodsboro to the Big Apple for the latest movie? Regardless, the first teaser for the movie is online.
For the new movie, Sam Carpenter (Melissa Barrera), Tara Carpenter (Jenna Ortega), Mindy Meeks-Martin (Jasmin Savoy Brown) and Chad Meeks-Martin (Mason Gooding) have made the move from Woodsboro to New York in order to attend college.
While the big city might not strike everyone as the safest place to relocate, they're at least hoping that they can get away from Ghostface-related slayings. Alas! Because it wouldn't be a Scream movie without the masked killer(s), what appears to be a Halloween night subway ride is suddenly interrupted by the cloaked nightmare.
With Courteney Cox once more back as Gale Weathers and Hayden Panettiere bringing Scream 4's Kirby Reed back to screens, the cast for this one also includes Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra and Samara Weaving.
