Having already returned (for the first time in decades) to the set of a Mission: Impossible movie for Dead Reckoning – Part One, Henry Czerny is reuniting in a different way for another Paramount film. He'll work once again with Ready Or Not directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, who are preparing to make their latest Scream instalment.

So far, the plot details are thin on the ground, but what we do know is that the four surviving main characters, played by Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding and Jenna Ortega, are leaving Woodsboro behind to start a fresh chapter. Fresh chaos, more like.

Though Neve Campbell has announced that she's not involved after a low-ball pay offer from the studio, Courteney Cox is retuning from the legacy cast, alongside Hayden Panettiere, reprising her role from Scream 4. Dermot Mulroney, Jack Champion, Liana Liberato, Devyn Nekoda and Josh Segarra are also all in the cast.

Scream 6 will shoot this summer and is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on 31 March next year. Czerny's return as Kittridge for the new Mission movie (possibly both) won't happen until 14 July 2023.
