Taking its title from the Buddhist concept of "the cycle of life" rather than, say, the perfume, it's a follow-up to Ron Fricke's Baraka. Impossible to describe without using words like "meditative", "spiritual" and "totally trippy, dude", **Baraka **offered a visual approach to documentary filmmaking that took viewers on a journey across the planet.
The world is a very different place these days, what with technology and Angry Birds and such, and it'll be fascinating to see **Samsara **reflect that without relinquishing its spiritual aspects. See for yourself from August 31.
