The Jungle Book

If you're looking for something a little different from the massive conflicts and building-toppling antics of some other Super Bowl teasers, the new footage from Jon Favreau's The Jungle Book could be the antidote. Check it out below.

Plumping for the "TV spot links to a proper online trailer", Favreau and his team have rolled out a full-length effort that once again shows off some of the beautiful effects work and voice talent on display for this re-working of both Rudyard Kipling's story and Disney's own animated classic.

It's not exactly peaceful even here, though, as young Mowgli (Neel Sethi) will struggle to survive in the tough jungle world. There are constant threats from the violent tiger Shere Khan (Idris Elba) and the cunning snake Kaa (Scarlett Johansson), not to mention his own choice between human destiny and staying with his animal pals. But those jungle critters he does trust will be there to help him, including wise panther Bagheera (Ben Kingsley) and loveable bear Baloo

(Bill Murray).

It's certainly looking impressive, but the real trial by audience will come when the film pads into cinemas on April 14. Meanwhile, head here for the full array of Super Bowl trailers.
