Ryan Reynolds and Kristen Stewart (Panic Room, but all growns up since then) have signed to star in coming-of-age comedy Adventureland for Superbad director Greg Mottola.

The film, set in 1987 (so expect some very special hair), centres on a stuffy college graduate (The Squid and The Whale's Jesse Eisenberg) who dreams of taking a tour of Europe. But, realising that's kind of pricey, he winds up taking a minimum wage job in an amusement park. However, as is the case with coming-of-age comedies, he finds love, new friends and a new outlook on the world.

Reynolds will play an aspiring rock star and favourite of all the kids working at the park. Stewart will play the tomboy love interest. Shooting starts later this month in Pittsburgh.
