Fresh(ish) from beating Bruce Willis to a mushy pulp in Live Free Or Die Hard, Maggie Q has jumped on board King Of Fighters, an English-language live-action reboot of the popular ‘90s Japanese videogame series.
Hong Kong director Gordon Chan (Fist Of Legend, The Medallion) is charged with pulling off that rarest of feats and making a watchable video game adaptation, a task made easier by a capable cast, including Q, Will Yun Lee, Sean Faris and Darth Maul himself, Ray Park.
With King Of Fighters’ Vancouver shoot scheduled to wrap in January, Maggie Q fans can expect to see her chopping some serious sock towards the end of 2009.
