You’d think that after 60 years of filming (all right, several months, but still…) on Pirates Of The Caribbean: At Worlds End, the team would be finalised.

But no. According to the Beeb, talent scouts are on the hunt for a new talent to help Johnny, Keira and Orlando promote the film. And they have to have feathers.

Yup, the Pirates crew is after a “spokesparrot”, who will become a personality for advertising and media spots.

If you think you have a squawker with the right stuff, report to Disney’s London base in Hammersmith on November 16th to audition the bird in front of studio executives and animal experts. The production is after parrots with “an outgoing personality” and “screen presence.” Which seems unfair – they didn’t look for that when they cast Orlando.
