Sam Taylor-Woods' young-John-Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy went down a storm at the London Film Festival, and is rapidly approaching its Christmas Day release here in the UK. So just to keep you going until then, we have a clip from the film to give you a taste of the music you can expect.

Aaron Johnson (the upcoming Kick-Ass, but you may remember him from Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. Or not) plays John Lennon, with Thomas Sangster (Love Actually) as Paul McCartney. This clip sees McCartney giving Lennon a guitar lesson as they begin their long collaboration, and yes, that's Kristin Scott-Thomas as Lennon's disapproving aunt Mimi.

Happily, the pair sound more like Lennon and McCartney than they look like them - as you can tell from the soundtrack album, which comes out on Monday 14. And yes, they did their own singing rather than miming to Beatles or Quarrymen (the Beatles' predecessor) tracks.
