Nominations For Best Foreign Film BAFTA

The nominees have been announced for the Film Not In The English Language category of the Orange British Academy Awards, or BAFTAs as they are better known. The shortlisted films are:

The Diving Bell And The Butterfly

The Kite Runner

The Lives of Others

Lust, Caution

La Vie En Rose

That's a fine list by any standards, but we can't really see it going to any film other than The Lives of Others, which is far and away the best of the five. It's always a shame that the BAFTAs can be a year behind the Oscars (Lives of Others won there last year) and so look a bit outdated, but such are the whims of the British release dates.

Which would you pick from the list? Any films you think have been unfairly excluded?
