Frost will be Robert, a smart, ambitious lawyer who also battles a huge addiction problem. When it begins to affect his work and he passes out drunk in court, he's assigned a sober companion to help him deal with his issues.
Long is taking on that role, helping Frost's character stay away from all the things that threaten to get him in trouble lest he lose his job and potentially end up behind bars for his behaviour. We imagine, given that it's a sitcom, that things won't go completely smoothly.
No director has been announced yet, but David S. Rosenthal and Jennie Snyder Urman have written the script and would run any eventual show. So if you want more Frost time, keep your fingers crossed that this one makes it to series.
