Almost as if they were celebrating something, Netflix have chosen Golden Globes time to unleash a new trailer for the incoming new season of House Of Cards. Prepare to be eyeballed by Kevin Spacey as he asks us to consider what takes real courage...
Spacey, as you'll probably know by now, walked away with the Golden Globe for Best Actor In A TV Series, for his continuing portrayal of the ruthless and Machiavellian democrat VP (until recently, they said spoilerifically...) Frank Underwood.
"This is just the beginning of my revenge." he said in Underwood-style acceptance. "This is the eighth time I've been nominated. I can't fucking believe I won."
Tony Gilroy, the man behind The Bourne Legacy, Michael Clayton and the US version of State Of Play, joined House Of Cards' behind-the-scenes team this year as a consultant, so expect Jeremy Renner to show up as an assassin. Okay, maybe not. The series returns, in one binge-worthy gulp as usual, to Netflix on February 27.
