UK scare fans awaiting the terrifying times promised by David Robert Mitchell’s Cannes horror sensation It Follows only have to be patient a little while longer, as the film finally hits these shores next month. The new, slightly longer trailer has arrived to haunt the web.
Beginning with footage that feels like a remixed version of the teaser we premiered exclusively last month, the new trailer takes viewers a little more deeply into the story, while still managing to leave much of what’s happening to the imagination.
The Guest’s Maika Monroe is back in peril as Jay, a 19 year-old who has long romanticised the idea of love, relationships and sex. But now that she’s finally exploring such issues, she discovers something terrible. And soon enough she suspects – no, knows – that something malevolent is following her. She and her friends team up to get to the bottom of the threat, only to find themselves mired deeper and deeper in something far beyond their control.
With Olivia Luccardi, Lili Sepe, Bailey Spry, Jake Weary and Daniel Zovatto amongst those feeling the fear, It Follows will be with us on February 27. And no one will be safe...
