New Trailer For The Campaign Arrives

The second trailer for the Zach Galifianakis and Will Ferrell political comedy, The Campaign, has arrived online, and it boasts more than enough snakes to send Indy running for the hills. That is to say: more than one.

Elsewhere, that Salt-n-Pepa reference you've been waiting for all year is here, as well as a fart gag, a willy joke and some carefully-timed straw slurping. In other words, it's just what you'd expect from a movie produced by regular Ferrell collaborator Adam McKay.

In the directing seat is Jay Roach, the man behind the Austin Powers trilogy, the first two Meet The Parents and, um, Dinner For Schmucks, guiding the stuffy rich incumbent congressman Cam Brady (Ferrell) into a collision course with chirpy family man Marty Huggins (Galifianakis) as they duke it out for a seat in Congress.

A couple of new posters for the film are also here, with Galifianakis carrying arguably the most confused pugs on the internet (aside from these ones{ =nofollow}, of course) and Ferrell looking altogether more respectable standing alongside his beautiful wife, Rose Brady (Katherine LaNasa).

The Campaign is in UK cinemas on September 28.
