No one who saw Paul Abbott's 2003 miniseries should be asking why we're excited about State Of Play. Tense, gripping and with more twists and turns than a twisty, turny thing, State Of Play was one of the best things to grace our screens in years and in April Kevin Macdonald's feature remake aims to do the same for the big screen.
