Excited about George Lucas' latest foray into out-of-this-world animation yet? Well, you better be.
And you know what fanboy fever is gonna get even more stoked with the release of the theatrical one-sheet for Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Go on, take a look. Epic enough for you? Oh hell, yeah it is.
LucasFilm is also planning to release the first official movie promo on a bunch of US cartoon channels, it’ll be trailering at screenings of Speed Racer, which is released world-wide on Friday (although, there’s no hard evidence to suggest that we’ll get to see it on the big screen on this side of the pond).
According to the official plot synopsis: “Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padmé Amidala are on the front lines of an intergalactic struggle between good and evil, along with brand-new heroes like Anakin’s Padawan Ahsoka. Sinister villains, led by Palpatine, Count Dooku and General Grievous, are poised to rule the galaxy. Stakes are high, and the fate of the Star Wars universe rests in the hands of the daring Jedi Knights. Their exploits lead to action-packed battles and astonishing new revelations.”

Star Wars: The Clone Wars will hit cinemas worldwide on August 15 and the movie leads directly in to the autumn premiere of a weekly computer-animated TV series on Cartoon Network. Watch this space for all the latest developments.
