Bond 24 - AKA Spectre - is into the third act of its shoot, after stints at Pinewood, Rome and the Austrian Alps, but it's marketing is still in the fancy opening credits phase. Today 007 is showing a little more leg - well, ankle, really - with a new Live And Let Die-alike quad poster. Home in on the image below to take a closer look.

So what to glean? That Daniel Craig has been shopping at Archer's knitwear supplier - marvel at that suave combat-ready tactleneck - and that the steely-eyed spy has been reunited with his trusty Walther PPK.

What know about Spectre so far is the following: “A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.”

With Miss Bala's Stephanie Sigman recently joining a cast that boasts Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris, as M, Q and Moneypenny respectively, Sam Mendes’ second trip into Bond’s world also includes Christoph Waltz as the enigmatic Oberhauser, Dave Bautista as Mr. Hinx, Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, Lea Seydoux as Madeline Swann and Andrew Scott as Denbigh.

Spectre hits our screens on October 23 before heading to the US on November 6. For much, much more Spectre-based info, pick up the current issue of **Empire from all hollowed-out newsagents and subsea WHSmiths.
