New Source Code Trailer Arrives

Duncan Jones’ Moon follow-up, Source Code, will be with us in April, and hot on the heels of a new clip comes the second trailer for the thriller. You can watch it below.

Jake Gyllenhaal stars as Colter Stevens, a soldier transported, thanks to some shiny high tec kit and a complicated computer system, into the body of a man fated to die during a terrorist attack on a train in Chicago.

Stevens has eight minutes to complete his mission – track down who the bomber is and report back to Vera Farmiga and Jeffrey Wright, who are aiming to stop the attack and prevent an even bigger explosion in the city.

But things get a little complicated when Colter meets and falls for Christina (Michelle Monaghan), one of the other passengers on the train. As he keeps leaping back into the minutes before the explosion and tries to save her as well as track down the terrorist, he notices subtle changes happening each time he's there. Can he really risk failure to focus on one woman?

The new promo shoves the action element even further front and centre, with lots of things going boom and plenty of shots of Gyllenhaal looking either sweaty or intense, but still manages to make the movie look like a lot of pulse-pounding fun. Take a look for yourself…

Source Code is out on April 1.
