With Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Puss In Boots et al heading back to our screens in Shrek Forever After, DreamWorks have released two new promo posters to pave the way for our very very visit to Far Far Away.

Shrek Forever After has everyone's favourite ogre languishing in domestic bliss only to find his life snatched from him by the wily Rumpelstiltskin (Walt Dohrn), a kind of miniature Faust with Jane Goldman hair, who persuades him to exchange a day of his life for the chance to revisit his youth.

Director Mike 'Sky High' Mitchell is promising few pop culture references, fewer characters but way more plot. Which sounds good to our pointy ears. "For me, Shrek's the Tony Soprano for kids," Mitchell tells us. "But he's not the same Shrek as he was - he's got kids now. So it's Shrek's mid-life crisis - he's lost his roar."
