Room 237, on the secrets behind Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, is one of those occasional documentaries that comes along and blows everyone away. We love it, so we're pleased to bring you this new poster for the film (as ever, click to enlarge).

Now admittedly that's similar to the one already out there, but this has a small boy on it, so it's really totally different when you think about it. Also, toys. Also, the Empire star rating.

Room 237, for those yet to investigate it, is Rodney Ascher's look at several very close analyses of Stanley Kubrick's film by those who have studied it in great detail and come to some quite startling conclusions about it. It's going to be fascinating for fans of the 1980 film, but also for those who know it less well (those who haven't seen it a) should and b) should beware spoilers).

Room 237 is out on October 26, and is reviewed in the next issue of Empire, on sale next Thursday.
