The new trailer for Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time has been released by the nice people at Disney UK.
While you can expect some familiar footage (Jake Gyllenhaal jumping, fighting and falling), there’s some extra exposition from Gemma Arterton’s Tamina about how our hero is seemingly a chosen one with a destiny, an orphan who became a prince and is tasked with protecting the time-twisting dagger from the evil forces who would use it to their own ends.
Plus there’s more of the banter between the pair as they start to fall for one another. We doubt naysayers will be won over, but if you’ve enjoyed the promos put out so far, we think you’ll have fun with this one (the snake attack is a nice moment).
Go take a gander below and let us know whether this’ll be worth your time or if you’ll end up wanting to bury it under shifting desert sands. The film itself arrives on 21 May.
