Thanks to his production credit on District 9, Peter Jackson had a cracking summer without even releasing his own movie. Fans of his unique melding of earthy realities with the way-out fantastic don't have long to wait though, as his adaptation of Alice Sebold's bestseller The Lovely Bones nears release.
Here's the new theatrical one-sheet, which shows Saoirse Ronan's Susie Salmon gliding through a distinctly afterlife-y setting and captures the film's tones of menace and hope.

Alongside Ronan, The Lovely Bones stars Marky Mark and Rachel Weisz as Susie's grieving parents, Stanley Tucci is the sinister neighbour George Harvey, while Susan Sarandon plays the family's grandmother.
