Here's a new photo from The Tourist which will tell you pretty much nothing new about the film, but which does feature two of the world's most gorgeous people looking pretty. And who are we to argue with an offer like that?
Yes, that's Johnny Depp, as heartbroken American Frank who's visiting Venice on holiday. And with him is Angelina Jolie as the "extraordinary woman" (well, duh; Angelina Jolie, innit) who deliberately crosses his path (well, duh: Johnny Depp, innit). After that, "against the breathtaking backdrop of Venice, Frank pursues a potential romance but soon finds himself the pursued as he and Elise are caught in a whirlwind of intrigue and danger."
Which tells us, of course, precisely nothing. We do know, however, that it's directed by Florian Henckel Von Donnersmarck, of The Lives Of Others fame; that it also stars Paul Bettany, Rufus Sewell and Timothy Dalton and that the script was scribbled by Christoper McQuarrie and Julian Fellowes. The film's due out in December, at a date to be confirmed, in the UK, and on December 10 in the US.
