Three seasons, 12 Emmy nominations and about a bajillion loyal fans in, it’s safe to say things are pretty rosy in the Orange Is The New Black prison yard. With the confidence afforded by a freshly commissioned fourth season, Jenji Kohan’s Netflix hit has a new trailer and some fresh stills to share with its public. Click below for a closer look.
This time out, Litchfield Penitentiary is under new management and old flame (and possible grass) Alex (Laura Prepon) is on hand to complicate things for Piper (Taylor Schilling). Also back for another term are Kate Mulgrew’s Red, Natasha Lyonne’s Nicky, Uzo Aduba’s Suzanne and Laverne Cox’s Sophia, plus all the rest of the troublemakers in the Pen. From the looks of this, season three promises more of the usual bad behaviour, potential fights, OTT characters and outlandish ideas (check out Suzanne’s literary efforts, for one thing). It’ll be available to stream in its customary single block of episodes on June 11.
