As the release date for Darren Aronofsky's Noah approaches, the whole Biblical flood thing is beginning to feel less like cinema and more like daily reality for much of the UK. Still, assuming you still have power and aren't up to your knees in rainwater, please enjoy this new international poster for the film.
Russell Crowe is, of course, playing the Ark-building family man, with Jennifer Connelly as his wife. He not only has the watery genocide of a discouraged deity to deal with in this story, but also the violent opposition of Ray Winstone's Tubal Cain. Anthony Hopkins plays Methuselah, Logan Lerman and Douglas Booth are Noah's sons, and Emma Watson plays a friend of the family, Ila. Nick Nolte and Frank Langella voice angels, in a sentence we never thought we'd write.
Noah hits UK cinemas on April 4, by which time the sun will hopefully have come out at least briefly. If not, we're all going to have to start mimicking Noah a little more closely...
