New Fast Five Trailer Drives Up

Speedy muscle cars. Bikini-clad women. Oiled up blokes scowling. Nope, it’s not Michael Bay’s belated salute to International Women’s Day, it’s the tire-squealing new trailer for Fast Five, which you can watch below. Try not to swallow any exhaust fumes.

Fast Five catches up with career crim Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and former cop Brian O’Connor (Paul Walker) as they round up their team for a potentially huge score. The big catch? The gang has to break into a police station. Not only that, but they’ve got an angry drug lord looking to pull the handbrake on their lives and driven federal agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) hunting them down.

Much like the first promo footage, this delivers exactly what you’d expect from an entry in the** Fast & Furious** franchise – screeching cars, explosions, gunplay and people running. Johnson looks like he fits in perfectly to the macho, bronze-tinted world that Justin Lin has conjured up again, while Walker and Diesel could play their roles in their sleep by now (unless they get woken up by all the loud noises.)

Check out the blend of old and new footage below and let us know what you think.
