There’s a honking big “What If?” premise lurking at the core of Tony Scott and Denzel Washington’s latest action thriller, Deja Vu. What if that prickly, spine-tugging feeling of déjà vu – that you’ve met someone before, previously visited a place you’ve only just arrived at, or are in the middle of action you know is familiar and yet shouldn’t be – is a warning from the past, or a clue to a future event?
That’s the quandary facing Washington’s ATF agent Doug Carlin in the film, and on the evidence of this latest trailer, it’s something he’ll need to prevent a massive bomb threat.
