The portents have been in the sky for a good few days and on Tuesday we told you the new trailer for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 would be arriving early this morning.Well, that time is now (as we write this, it is around 6pm LA Time, or 1am GMT for those of you who are tucked up slumbering in your beds). An action-packed new promo is live courtesy of Yahoo Movies and you can watch it below.
And what a trailer! While the earlier teasers and other clips have promised something epic, this first part of Deathly Hallows really is shaping up to be a huge adventure for our heroes on screen.
Making the choice to slice the story into two now looks like a truly smart move as there’s so much to cram into each part. We’re treated to our first proper look at Bill Nighy as Rufus Scrimgeour, whose dialogue frames the first part of this new footage. Plenty of things go boom, there are the amped up dramatic confrontation as Harry’s friendship with Ron and Hermione really gets put to the test, and of course, Voldemort’s forces gather for a massive final attack against both the good guys and us muggles caught in between.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 arrives in cinemas on November 19, with Part 2 following on July 15 next year.
