The Empire cinema in London's Leicester Square played host to a veritable cornucopia of creatures, a cacophony of sounds and, yes, a myriad of stars as Dustin Hoffman and his mates hit the capital to celebrate the European premiere of Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium.

Living up to the titular magical toy store’s rep, the tourist-thronged locale witnessed the arrival of the original Hoff flanked by a zebra, young co-star Zach Mills and a juggler on stilts.

The event, held to raise funds for Barnado’s and NSPCC, was a typically child-friendly affair with the likes of Andy Serkis’ family braving the cold on Sunday afternoon – oh, and to enjoy an animated introduction from the eponymous owner.

Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium goes on general release from December 14.
