Just when we thought Brad Pitt-starring action thriller Bullet Train might have locked down all of its cast with the addition of Zazie Beetz, the drip feed pipe has opened up again. Michael Shannon will also board the movie.

Hobbs & Shaw's David Leitch is in the director's chair, while Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji and Masi Oka are all already part of the ensemble, which is based on Kotaro Isaka's novel Maria Beetle. While the film's exact plot has yet to be specified, the story sees five assassins finding themselves on a fast-moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. They discover their missions are linked to one another. The question becomes, who will make it off the train alive and what awaits them at the terminal station?

As is standard right now, we don't yet know what role Shannon will be playing, but we can really see him as a killer. Bullet Train doesn't have a release date just yet.
