Man Of Tai Chi Trailer Kicks In

Just last week, the first poster and stills for Keanu Reeves’ directorial debut Man Of Tai Chi hit the Interwebs, but we’re betting many of you were left wondering when we might get to see some moving footage. Wonder no more, because the trailer is online for us to enjoy.

With Yuen Woo-Ping, who put Reeves through his paces on the Matrix films, providing action choreography, **Man Of Tai Chi **finds young a martial artist (Tiger Hi) Chen lured into an underground tournament in Beijing. He’s promised the chance for greatness by the scheming Reeves, but only if he survives a round of no rules, no referees and no-holds-barred battles. If we’re honest, the plot really just looks like an excuse to hang more than 30 minutes of gruelling combat on, but that could still be very entertaining.

Simon Yam, Karen Mok and The Raid’s Iko Uwais are also in the cast for this one, which is still trundling through the post-production process with no release set yet. Reeves, meanwhile, will be in slightly more heroic martial arts mode for 47 Ronin, which is currently scheduled for release on December 26 this year.
