Yesterday’s groin-focused poster for Magic Mike XXL has been followed online by the first teaser trailer, which offers a glimpse of Channing Tatum’s Mike and the rest of the dancers doing their thang. Take a look below.
Although the story kicks off three years after Mike decided to hang up his posing pouch and turn his attention to making furniture, it would seem he still has the music in him, as showcased by a Flashdance-esque sequence where time in the workshop turns into an impromptu boogie session.
And what luck for him! The remaining veterans of the Kings of Tampa are looking to join Mike in the post-dancer category, but have decided to wrap up their careers with one final, big tour and show. Hitting the road for Myrtle Beach with a few stops along the way, they realise that this could be their craziest experience yet.
Matt Bomer, Adam Rodriguez, Kevin Nash and Joe Manganiello are among the veterans of the original joining Tatum, with Amber Heard, Elizabeth Banks, Jada Pinkett Smith, Donald Glover and Andie MacDowell on board for this one, which struts into cinemas on July 31.
