It may be May, but Valentine's Day is just around the corner, film-ically speaking, and Garry "Pretty Woman"Marshall's ensemble rom-com has just announced its first cast list, with some impressive names included.

All four of the World's Sexiest Jessicas are in the film: Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba, Jessica Garner, and Jessica Roberts*. They're joined by Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Shirley MacLaine and Bradley Cooper, with a number of roles still to be cast.

Biel plays a publicist who's unlucky in love and has no date for V-Day. Anne Hathaway is an assistant at a Hollywood talent agency who's dating a guy in the mailroom (yet to be cast) - and that limb of the story features another talent agent who's yet to be cast (Biel's love interest?). Alba's dating Kutcher's florist character, who proposes to her only to realise that he's actually in love with his friend, played by Jennifer Garner.

Julia Roberts plays an army officer flying home to LA on leave from Iraq. On her flight is Bradley Cooper's gay character, whose lover is a closeted football player (he's yet to be cast). Shirley MacLaine plays Roberts' mother, who tells her husband (yet to be cast) about a long-ago affair (on *Valentine's *Day? Cold!).

There's also a young boy who's looking for someone to give flowers to on the day.

The film's looking increasingly like another Love, Actually, what with all that star power. The screenplay was written by Katherine Fugate, of The Prince and Me, er, fame, with a rewrite by Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein, of Never Been Kissed and He's Just Not That Into You fame. Expect to see the finished results sometime around Valentine's Day next year, funny enough.

*OK, so two of these are in fact a Jennifer and a Julia. But they're all the same sort of name really.
