New Line has snapped up another romantic comedy pitch – and is once again playing the age-old game of keeping lots of the details to itself.
The untitled script (told you they were being cagey) was written by Austin Winsberg, who recently created US TV comedy drama Jake In Progress for John Stamos.
The story – such as there is at the moment – follows a couple who have, and we’re quoting here, “perfectionist aspirations”. Yeah, thanks for releasing that titbit.
As you might expect, there is no director or cast attached yet. Stay tuned for exciting updates in which the studio doesn’t tell us the name of the leads or ever show us the finished film. Sheesh, don't know why we bother sometimes.
