Look out everyone, the attack eyebrows are back! Yes, after the teaser trailer revealed during the show’s Comic-Con panel last month, here comes the first proper, full trailer, brimming with more monster-laden goodness.
As seems usual for the Doctor these days, he’s back adventuring with Jenna Coleman’s Clara Oswald, and confronting all manner of terrifying galactic threats. There’s more mischief promised from Missy (Michelle Gomez), the Zygons, a sprinkling of Daleks and, of course, some new creatures and places we’ve yet to encounter.
Game Of Thrones’ Maisie Williams is the standout again, but the likes of Reece Shearsmith, Rebecca Front, Rufus Hound, Paul Kaye, Elaine Tan, Neet Mohan, Bethany Black, Paul Courtenay Hyu, Joivan Wade and Sophie Stone are all aboard for the usual batch of running, screaming, planning, and speechifying.
Things kick off on September 19 with two-parter The Magician’s Apprentice and The Witch’s Familiar, written by Who guru Steven Moffat and directed by Hettie Macdonald.
